This pineapple rum slush is the perfect quick cocktail for a crowd, or for a nice refreshing drink after winding down from a hot summer day.
Pineapple Rum Slush. One of our favorite summertime slushies! Alcoholic slushies are the hottest – or should I say coolest – cocktail trend right now. Alcoholic slushies create a cool and relaxed environment for hanging out and enjoying a beautiful sunny day.

To make your own twist on a rum slush, think of it like you’re building a smoothie. Take your base fruits and veg for the majority of the flavor, ensure at least some of it is frozen, and add enough liquid (alcoholic and not) to get a smooth puree.
Some people like to use ice in these, but I prefer to get that slush texture from using frozen fruits. It will stay smooth and frozen longer, have a better taste and is more refreshing as a result.

Ingredients
- 3 ounces rum *
- 16 ounces cubed frozen pineapple
- 3/4 cup coconut water or pineapple juice
Instructions
Number One, (Optional) Set aside two pineapple cubes to use as a garnish, slicing them halfway through and placing on the glass rim.
Number Two, Pour the coconut water and rum into a blender. Add pineapple cubes and cover. Blend until mixture is smooth and no chunks remain. If mixture is too thick or difficult to blend, add another 1/4 cup of coconut water.
Number Three, Taste and add more rum as desired.
Number Four, Pour into glasses and enjoy
